About Us

Advanced A/V Solutions is located in the beautiful hills of Austin, Texas. Advanced A/V Solutions was started by Peter Sandford, who knew at an early age that he had a passion for audio and video. After graduating high school he went on to earn a degree in communications in upstate New York, making his way to New York City by working as an electricians apprentice while attending the Institute of Audio Research where he earned a degree as an Audio Engineer. During his school career, he was able to explore the many possibilities available in his specialty and, unlike the majority; he developed a specific passion for home and business applications.

Home theater design and installation opened even more opportunities for Peter when he moved to Austin four years ago. He saw a need for a company that was local, honest, and educated in what products they offered and installed. He had been to many jobs where the customer had been left mid-way in the project, or when promises had been made and never delivered. At that time he made it a personal goal to offer his services to those people and to new customers who had no idea what they needed or wanted but could use his education to guide them in their decision making.

Peter and his team continue their education, certifications, and training to keep up with all the newest technology available.
